The Cellars-Hohenort is located in ‘Cape Town’s Vineyard’, the historical Constantia Valley on the breathtaking slopes of Table Mountain. Our historic hotel is set in 9.5 acres of beautifully manicured gardens, which feature the second-oldest camphor trees in South Africa, an enchanted forest, a vineyard, secret doorways, a rose garden and so much more. Within this setting we offer a variety of mesmerising indoor and outdoor locations for you to say ‘I do’.

At The Cellars-Hohenort, the head chef and our event planner will meet with the bridal couple prior to their wedding day to create a personalised set menu, paired with a range of world-class wines. The menu can be exquisitely tailored to your needs, from a fine-dining reception dinner to a champagne breakfast or relaxed lunch.

Executive Chef, Tronette Dippenaar has created a classic menu with a focus on firm favourites, including some of Liz McGrath’s personal recipes.
From traditional Cape Malay bobotie, Crispy Tempura Prawns, and Charred Springbok tataki, the menu has something for everyone, with a special lightness to dishes such as her signature Boland Cheese Soufflé with Cheesy Gin Sauce.
Working in perfect harmony with the natural setting, The Conservatory incorporates fresh produce picked from our very own gardens whenever possible, including local fynbos.
