Garden Map

Set across nine acres in Cape Town’s Constantia Valley, the award-winning gardens of The Cellars-Hohenort are a defining part of the hotel experience. Sloping towards Table Mountain, the gardens unfold through a collection of beautifully maintained spaces, including the Rose Garden, Herb, Vegetable and Citrus Gardens, and the Hohenort Lawns. More than 2,500 roses flourish in the Rose Garden, including the special Liz McGrath Rose, while indigenous plants, ancient camphor trees and seasonal blooms bring colour and character throughout the year. Created over decades through Liz McGrath’s vision and the care of Jean Almon, the gardens are home to an abundance of birdlife and wildlife, offering guests a peaceful place to wander, pause and enjoy the beauty of Constantia
