RATES

All rates quoted are in the currency of the South African Rand (ZAR) inclusive of South African value added tax (currently at 15%) and are inclusive of full English breakfast. The rack rates are excluding tourism / grading levy on accommodation. Tourism Levy will be charged at 1% on the room rate.

All our rate are room rates single or double.

Should there be an increase in the accommodation rate, value added tax or the tourism / grading levy, you will be advised in writing of the date from which this will be effective. Kindly note that service charges are not included in accommodation rates.

A minimum of 3 nights would apply over the Festive period and Mining Indaba.

CONFIRMATION OF RESERVATION

The hotels must be sent a voucher, or should a voucher not be available, confirmation on the operator’s letterhead, confirming the guest’s stay prior to arrival. This must be received 30 days prior to arrival.

In order to be valid, all reservations, amendments and cancellations must be confirmed to the hotel in writing within the stipulated periods.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations must be received and acknowledged by our reservations office in writing.

Summer (October – March) – All reservations cancelled 30 days or less prior to arrival, will result in 100% cancellation fees.

Winter (April – September) – All reservations cancelled 14 days or less prior to arrival, will result in 100% cancellation fees.

In the event of an early departure or a no show, 100% cancellation fees will apply.

PAYMENT

Arrivals between 01 October and 31 March, a 50% deposit is due 90 days prior to arrival and the other 50% to be paid 45 days prior to arrival.

Arrivals between 01 April and 30 September, full prepayment 30 days prior to arrival.

GENERAL

Check-in time is from 14h00. A guaranteed check-in prior to 14h00 can be pre-registered from the night before for an additional charge equal to one night’s accommodation.
Check-out time is at 11h00. Any requests for a late departure are subject to availability and may be subject to a late departure fee of 50% of the applicable rate. Late departures after 18h00 are subject to a charge of one additional night’s accommodation.

CHILDREN POLICY

We welcome children of all ages.

Extra Person, Child & Family Policy 2017

A maximum of two (2) adults are permitted to occupy one double room.
If three (3) adults are travelling or two (2) adults and one (1) child, a second (2nd) room will need to be booked and will be charged the single rate
On request and subject to availability an extra bed can be placed in a Suite or Premier Suite for a child under the age of 12. An additional cost of R 1,050.00 per night will be levied, this is inclusive of breakfast for the child

UNDERTAKING OF THE COMPANY

Subject to the provisions of the reservation, we undertake to provide the facilities to the clients at the hotel upon the terms detailed in the booking and subject to the following:

The client shall be responsible for any damage or destruction of the hotel and its property.
The client shall comply with all reasonable requests and directions from the hotel’s management.
